MOUNTAIN BIKING: Beaver Pond

← MA THREEMILE RIVER NORTH DIGHTON MA Single Tracks →

Description

You could ride here, but really would you want to? Trails are pure moto, in some places the ruts go down a few feet. Very loose, sandy dirt. Due to that, little traction on the short steep hills going up or down. Where trees fall across the trail they just ride around making new trail haphazardly. Only reason I checked it out was that you can see part of the sandy trail from 495 N and every day on my drive home I'd look at it and wonder. Well, now I know. Yes you can ride here but there's much better riding in the area

Directions

From 495, take Exit 17 to Franklin. Go east off the highway, past the plaze with Stop and Shop, etc. Continue until you hit Beaver St. Turn right, paved parking is a little ways down on the left.
